Juls is a German-raised, Los Angeles-based composer, music director, multi-instrumentalist, and performer.
Classically trained from the age of six, Juls has developed a broad stylistic range shaped by a foundation in Western music and ongoing exploration of global musical traditions. Their work spans feature films, documentaries, TV series, video games, and live performance, marked by a distinct voice and a passion for unconventional artistic approaches.
As a music director, Juls brings a sharp curatorial ear and collaborative spirit to every project—seamlessly bridging conception, composition, storytelling, and execution.
Recent notable credits include Sony Pictures’ MISSING (dir. Will Merrick & Nick Johnson), Amazon’s six-part series Luden, and the documentary Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche (dirs. Jared Drake & Steven Siig), which chronicles the harrowing events of a deadly avalanche at a Lake Tahoe ski resort.

Other theatrical work includes Heart of Champions, directed by Michael Mailer, starring Michael Shannon, the FIPRESCI Award-winning drama Pause, directed by Tonia Mishiali, and the emotional feature Princess of the Row, directed by Max Carlson and produced by Morgan Freeman.
Juls has also contributed to acclaimed television series including Mr. Robot (USA Network), American Horror Story (FX), American Crime Story: People vs. OJ (FX), and Scream Queens (FOX).
